Our student dorm consists of 6 floors with a total of 9 floor wings. On this page you will get an overview of our dorm life, the facilities, our location, the rental prices, as well as the board of trustees.
We do not only live together, but also actively shape and decide on our dorm life. Our tutor and bar teams organize regular community events. Other offices fulfill various tasks: from the student council to the facility manager's office and the administration of the internet. We, students, try to regulate and organize as much as possible ourselves.
Our rooms were modernized in 2015 and offer you a pleasant, fully furnished place to stay. Apart from that, you will also find enough possibilities to distract from the strenuous study routine: garden with pergola, sports room, music room, multipurpose (study) room, large living rooms, many balconies, a bar with foosball, and a pool table. Once you've finished studying, you're guaranteed not to get bored with us.
In less than 10 minutes, you can reach the main campus of the Technical University of Munich (TUM) and the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich (LMU) or the Olympic Park by bike. By subway, you are at the main station in 10 minutes and shopping opportunities, as well as the Bayernpark and Luitpoldpark are practically at your doorstep.
We are also affected by inflation, which is why we unfortunately had to increase the rent last year. But don't worry, our dorm should still offer affordable housing for all.
The monthly rent for standard rooms (10 m²) is 395.00 € and for large rooms (15 m²) 493.00 €. The rent includes the utilities, while electricity costs are charged extra according to personal consumption. In addition, there is a rental deposit of two months' rent and a key deposit of 50 €. Please note, that due to the current situation in the energy sector (2022), short-term changes in the rental price are possible.
The association Studentenwohnheim Willi Graf e.V. is the owner of our student dorm and takes care of financial matters, as well as the current and future operation of the house.
